After experiencing positive marketing results in motorsports through its sponsorship of Dale Earnhardt Jr, the American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity felt it was time to expand its efforts into drag racing.
The dominant two-car team of eXtreme Pro Stock racers Kevin Bealko and John Deflorian would be a perfect platform to inform and educate Americans about the importance of coal-based electricity, thus a partnership was formed.
Having established a prior relationship with the team, TYRANT was selected to design the Clean Coal livery that would be used on the race car, equipment, hauler and apparel.
In 2011, TYRANT created an eye catching theme for the two-car Black Diamond Motorsports team. The extreme designs were a fan favorite, but the vivid colors and burning coal, were not appropriate for representing Clean Coal Technology.
Using key elements and colors from Americas Power, TYRANT produced a look that brought the brand to life while remaining true to its message.
